If you plan to rent a car and visit the other villages around the island, Pefkos is an ideal location from which to do this. Cars can be rented in Pefkos itself, the nearby villages of Lindos, Vlycha and Kalathos, and from Rhodes Airport.
The traditional village of Lindos with its ancient Acropolis is only 4 km from Pefkos. Lindos retains its picturesque qualities by not allowing cars to enter, but is easy to reach by bus or taxi. Lindos has two beautiful beaches and the famous St. Paul’s Bay, with a chapel where many weddings take place every year.
